Interpro Group is proud to announce its milestone achievement in the commitment to continued improvement with the certification of its manufacturing subsidiary Interpro Wood Industries L.L.C (IWI) to Quality Management System of ISO 9001:2008.
The Dubai Wood Show is one of the most imperative events of the year for Interpro Group. Not only is it a time when we engage in proactive discussions with suppliers and customers but also the venue acts as a reunion for all of our Team Members across the world.
In its consecutive eighth year, the Dubai Wood Show has become region’s largest forest product exhibiting platform. Exhibitors from 35 countries were provided the opportunity to connect with manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of wood products, woodworking machinery and other related materials. According to the statistics from the department of Dubai Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, imports and re-exports of all types of timber into the region are at an all time high. The International Trade Centre asserts that in 2010, the U.A.E. was among the top 30 timber and wood importers in the world.
The completion of the trade show highlights Interpro Group’s third consecutive participation at the esteemed venue. The Interpro Team gathered employees and partners from all over the world such as Canada, India, Pakistan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and South Korea.
While pursuing our vision of becoming a world-renowned Canadian forest products organization, and being a proud member of the Dubai community, all of us at Interpro wish to extend our gratitude to DWTC and Dawood Al Shezawi (CEO, Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions), organizers of the show who provided state-of-the-art facilities.
Interpro Wood Industries (IWI) was pleased to receive delegates at their production site in Jebel Ali, Dubai from the Department of Natural Resources Canada and Quebec Wood Export Bureau.
Interpro Forest Products proudly participated in the MBC Construction Expo held in Seoul, Korea as an integral part of the Canadian Pavilion. Considered the leading building and construction exhibition in Korea, the show witnessed participation from over 350 exhibitors and attendance of 150,000 visitors.
